Install Android on Mac OSX

Follow these instructions to install Android on Mac OSX
1. Download Eclipse / Aptana
2. Download & Install Android SDK: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
3. Open de ~/.bash_profile file with a text editor. And add the class path:

export PATH=$PATH:~/android-sdk-mac_x86-1.5_r2/tools/ 
  1. In Eclipse / Aptana, add the following software site: http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ and download Android Development Tools plugin
  2. Open the in the android-sdk-mac_x86-1.5_r2/tools/ folder the Android installer and update the packages
  3. In Eclipse / Aptana, go to preferences > Android. And set the SDK location to the andriod-sdk-mac_1.5_r2 folder.

Now open Eclipse / Aptana and start a new Android Project.
